SELLERS have had to compete hard all year with increasing levels of supply which has also resulted in a staedy increase in price reductions throughout the year. BUYERS have benefited from being able to take their time to choose the best property and value for them while prices have remained steady with only modest month on month changes. Although buyers have also needed that time to save more and contend with higher mortgage rates.
HOWEVER is that all about to change ? Mortgage rates have been coming down and are set to come down further while supply is about to decline in the last quarter of the year. BOURNEMOUTH has seen consecutive increases in the number of new Sales Agreed since June. September is shaping up to be another strong month for Sales at Clarkes.
